Conceived by TopCar Design, the likelihood of spotting this $700k+ beast is highly unlikely, since only 7 examples exist

However, if you ever feel like Porsche’s vibrant PTS colors do not offer the individuality you are looking for, this is where TopCar design’s Stinger GTR comes into the picture. TopCar Design has always been about pushing the boundaries when it comes to crafting custom Porsche body kits and the Stinger GTR is a spectacular manifestation of their unique creative process.
The Stinger GTR is based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S, with its entire body replaced by 80 individual pieces of carbon fiber. I have never seen anything sparkle under the lights like the black and burgundy gradient shade of the Stinger. TopCar Design calls the design Stealth, which is quite appropriate given its understated demeanor.
- The Porsche 992 Stinger GTR Stealth Edition is based on the 911 Turbo S and has a body crafted completely out of carbon fiber
- The Stealth Editions are 7 unique models, each individually built and finished in a distinctive shade or gradient.
- The Stinger is equipped with TopCar Design - RS Edition forged center locking wheels

So far there have been seven different versions of the Stealth Edition Stinger GTR coupes, each finished in a unique single-tone or gradient shade. All body panels, including the front and rear bumpers, fenders, hood, doors, sills, spoiler, and engine cover, have been completely replaced. Every part is made up of four layers of carbon fiber - external, internal, and two structural layers. Additional carbon fiber components include wing mirrors, skirts, spoiler lips, diffusers, rear spoiler, and vents. Inside the cabin, TopCar offers a generous amount of carbon fiber accents. The Stinger GTR also gets TopCar Design RS Edition forged center-lock wheels which are lightweight and enhance the stability of the Stinger at high speeds. You could also get the more expensive Aero-style Carbon Edition set of four wheels which will cost you around $17,000. You can find the entire list of 80+ carbon fiber parts on the TopCar website. They include:
-
Carbon fiber hood, front bumper with side inserts, front lip, and fenders with air ducts.
-
Carbon fiber side skirts
-
Carbon fiber doors
-
Side air intakes
-
Carbon fiber roof and roof pillars
-
Carbon fiber rear podium and rear spoiler
-
Carbon fiber side mirrors
-
Additional advanced custom interior options ($55,000)
For an additional price, you can get a titanium Akrapovic titanium exhaust ($9000) or the relatively cheaper Kline Inconel exhaust ($7300). The exhaust system can be enhanced by additional bits like manifolds and carbon fiber tips. Underneath the skin, the Turbo S retains its stock 3.8-liter flat-six with an output of 640 horsepower and 590 foot-pounds of torque. You can be sure with all the lightweight carbon fiber tacked on, there will be a significant performance uptick. I suspect that the challenge will be to keep the Stinger from going airborne.
The Stinger Stealth Edition Slides Under The Radar
If you would like to own the Stinger GTR Stealth Carbon, be prepared to shell out somewhere around 7,50,000 + import duties from Europe. It is currently listed at 7PL Tuning and Luxury Cars based out of Warsaw, Poland. Not too long ago a 2022 Porsche 911 Stringer GTR Carbon Edition was listed on duPont REGISTRY for $6,99,000. But the question remains, is the relatively high price tag justified, especially considering that a stock Turbo S costs less than half the price of the Stinger? If you are someone who likes to make a strong statement with your individuality, then the Stinger Stealth Edition is the car for you. You could pull into any car meet event in the country and rest assured you will not find another Stinger there. With only seven units of the Stealth Edition being released, seeing one in the wild is the automotive equivalent of spotting the Yeti. (not the Czech car, but the abominable beast)
Jay Leno once said, "You don’t buy the car, you buy the story" and with the Stinger, you get a story that only you will be telling. You are getting the formidable heart of the Porsche Turbo S, clad in a bespoke carbon fiber shell that should outshine pretty much any PTS color out there. I am assuming that for the people who are about to reach for their chequebook for this car, it probably won’t be their first Porsche. But it will be, by far the most unique car in their garage. For that reason alone, the Stinger GTR Stealth Edition is worth the price, especially if you compare similar offerings from companies like Singer or RUF.
