Here's What The Entry-Level Porsche Panamera Gets You In 2024

Getting the basics right by ticking several boxes, here's why the base RWD represents a killer deal in the Panamera range

The Porsche Panamera, on sale since 2009 is now in its third generation, and is one of two four-door sedans, that Porsche currently sells (the other being the Taycan EV). Now, Despite a slowdown in the sale of sedans, Porsche it seems will not back off from this format, anytime soon. The fact, that the German automaker announced the third generation Panamera as recently as 2023 with some much-needed updates and a lot more power throughout the range, shows that it is committed to this body style. 771 horsepower from the V8 hybrid Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid sounds wild, isn’t it?

Porsche People: A Closer Look At Common Stereotypes

Debunking the popular myths associated with purists, we explore the nature of those who own Porsches

Every car owner projects a certain image or lifestyle, and owning a certain model or brand comes with certain preconceived notions or stereotypes. We’ve all heard of the more popular ones like how BMW owners are unaware of turn signals or how Subaru owners are outdoorsy. Some stereotypes are weirder than others, like how every Mini Cooper owner must be a vegan, who knows where that got started?

4 Reasons Why The Porsche Cayenne GTS Stands out

Within the Cayenne's extensive model lineup, find out why the GTS may be the one to get

The Porsche Cayenne recently got a few nice updates for 2025. While most will be looking towards the range-topping Cayenne Turbo E Hybrid, it is the new GTS trim that is the most pleasant surprise. The GTS is, typically, considered to be the perfect middle ground among all Porsche models as it combines the ideal blend of performance, comfort, and usable power levels. Despite the Cayenne GTS being one of the most athletic SUVs out there, a Sports Utility Vehicle can never offer the same thrills as a proper sports car like, let’s say the 911 Carrera GTS.

Proof That A 992.1 Porsche 911 Turbo S Is Even Capable Of Dominating Hypercars

ES Motors UK demonstrates how it takes almost little to no modifications, to transform the Turbo S into a hypercar slayer

The Porsche 911 Turbo S is, by no means, an affordable car.... or is it? It all depends on the context and when that includes hypercars from the likes of Bugatti and Koenigsegg, the perception of value can drastically change. While the build process of most exotics typically employs the best and most exotic materials, this doesn’t always guarantee a million-dollar, 1,000-plus-horsepower hypercar’s position at the top of the automotive food chain. Then you have other cars that despite the lack of these sci-fi materials, are still built to be overachievers and the Porsche 992 Turbo S is certainly a great example of that.

Does Porsche's Continued Efforts To Push Innovative Tech On The Panamera Mean That It's Here to Stay? - image 193814

Does Porsche's Continued Efforts To Push Innovative Tech On The Panamera Mean That It's Here to Stay?

Despite a looming threat from EVs and SUVs, here's why Porsche could be hanging on to its flagship four-door sedan

The Panamera is the Porsche brand’s first production four-door sedan. It came out back in April 2009 and frankly, its design was more controversial at the time, than the fact it was a four-door Porsche sedan. The looks were purely function over form since the back-then CEO, Wendelin Wiedeking’s priority above all else, was for the car to seat four tall adults comfortably. Fast-forward to 2024 and the Panamera is now in its third generation and thankfully, I can say that it’s a lot better looking than before. However, with the introduction of the all-electric four-door Porsche Taycan – the brand’s first EV, along with subsequent decline in the sale of sedans in favor of SUVs – the Panamera seemingly doesn’t make sense. But, despite those plummeting sales numbers, Porsche has decided to, not just keep the Panamera around, but also give it cutting-edge tech like the new, high-end, Active Ride suspension and other innovative technologies. Now my argument is that Porsche doesn’t do things for no reason, so here’s what this could mean for the Panamera’s future.

KAMM 912c: A Restomod That's So Good, Porsche Should Be Jealous

Picking up where the classic air-cooled 912 left off, this feather-light Porsche restomod is proof that four cylinders is more than up to the job

The Porsche 912 was the original ’affordable Porsche’, - where customers essentially got a 911 with the economical engine from the Porsche 356 SC. It was one of the first models to open the door to Porsche ownership to a wider range of customers. The 912 quickly garnered a cult following within the Porsche community, proving that you do not need crazy power to have a fun driving experience. Now a restomod firm from Budapest, Hungary KAMManufaktur is reintroducing the 912l in a modern avatar and calling it the 912c, where the ’c’ stands for carbon fiber, a go-to material of choice for shedding weight while not compromising rigidity and this one has a lot, as you’re about to find out.

These Hyper-Realistic Renderings Of A Dakar-Style Porsche Are Impossible To Ignore

If you've ever wondered what an extreme off-roader from Stuttgart could potentially look like, here's your answer

When you think Porsche, off-roaders are perhaps the last thing that comes to mind. But the German brand does have a rally-bred pedigree if we look back to the 911 and 959 Dakars from the 1980s. While purists may still scoff at their SUVs, models like the Cayenne and Macan which are household names today, were vital to Porsche’s survival. In fact, it is these very cash cows that have made cars like the iconic Carrera GT and 918 Spyder possible.

Instantly Add Value To Your 996 Cabriolet With This Speedster Transformation - image 193674

Instantly Add Value To Your 996 Cabriolet With This Speedster Transformation

Where real Speedsters cost hundreds of thousands if not millions, this inexpensive solution can help you 996 Cab achieve that look at a fraction of the cost

The Speedster is one of the purest forms of the 911 and the nameplate actually dates back to the early ‘50s when Porsche sold the likes of the 550 and 356 Speedsters. While the Speedster body style is all about open-top motoring, it does have a few stand-out elements that set it apart from Cabriolets and Targa models. The Speedster is known for its stripped-down design and lightweight body, often featuring a smaller windshield, no rear seats, a distinctive double-hump on the rear deck lid, and a tonneau cover instead of a full roof.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo E Hybrid GT Package: Running Shoes For Porsche's Heavy Hybrid SUV

As the new range-topping Cayenne is slower than the outgoing model, can the GT Package infuse much-needed athleticism?

About 20 years ago, Porsche raised a few eyebrows by introducing its first SUV – the Cayenne. This exercise paid off big time since this high-riding Porsche is widely viewed as the model responsible for saving the German automaker from bankruptcy. Fast-forward to 2024 and the two best-selling Porsche models are still SUVs, i.e. the Cayenne and its smaller sibling, the Macan. The Cayenne was recently updated, but its range-topping Turbo E Hybrid model seems a bit puzzling to me.

How Bad (Or Good) Is The Knock-Off Porsche Taycan? - image 193598

How Bad (Or Good) Is The Knock-Off Porsche Taycan?

An affordable EV Made in China, there's nothing budget about the Xiaomi SU7 with a thing or two that Porsche can learn from this entry-level model

Now, as a Porsche enthusiast, I’ve always been drawn to the German brand’s blend of sophisticated design, luxury, performance, and cutting-edge technology. So, when I first heard about the SU7 from Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi about their knock-off Taycan; I was not only intrigued but also a bit skeptical. Yes, yes...I know how legacy automakers everywhere, including the United States are paranoid about the looming threat from Chinese EVs (can’t believe this is political now), but could a company known primarily for its consumer electronics truly compete with established automotive giants? They may not be a household name in America, but after spending some time on the SU7’s configurator, I can say that Xiaomi, despite being a newcomer in the automotive space at least, doesn’t disappoint.
