'Ring Masters Are Cooking Up Something Insane: 2025 Manthey Racing GT3 RS MR Incoming

Get ready to witness history as the Porsche tuner gets ready to unleash their most ludicrous GT3 RS to date

Manthey Racing was recently spied yet again testing their GT3 RS MR Prototype at the Nurburgring. The prototype has been wrapped in monochromatic camo this time around, but we can discern that the Manthey Racing team has worked their aerodynamic magic on this GT3. For starters, the rear wing looks like it belongs on an airplane, composed of a large fin, attached to where the rear windshield used to be. YouTuber Arc Driver recently dropped a video taking us through a detailed breakdown of all the modifications to the MR Prototype. Manthey Racing is known for Porsche-centric body kits and their in-house race team. Incidentally, the team recently claimed victory in the LM GT3 Category at Le Mans, and they did so in the Porsche GT3R Racecar.

Manthey Racing Continues To Evolve The Already Insane GT3 RS

The already impressive Porsche 911 GT3 RS is about to get even better. Recent sightings at the Nürburgring show a prototype 911 GT3 RS with significant aerodynamic modifications from Manthey Racing. These include a massive rear wing with an active function, a central fin for improved stability, vortex generators, and an aggressive rear diffuser. This particular GT3 RS was spotted for the first time at the Nürburgring 8 months ago, at the time sporting bright red Salzburg livery, and a Manthey Racing kit.

This time, the prototype features a more aggressive transformation with a longer front end with a more pronounced lip, air canards placed above the front wheels, and a large rear wing composed of fins and a large central fin. We are yet to see any official performance figures from the brand, but if their history is any indication, the performance advantages from these modifications will be substantial. The rear end also gains a diffuser inspired by the 911 GT3 RSR GT Racecar. There is already speculation the brand might be trying to reclaim the Nürburgring record set by the AMG1, which is 6 minutes and 35 seconds.** Interestingly this record was previously held by the Porsche 911 GT2 RS MR.

We can speculate the car could also have four-way coilover suspension, stainless steel braided brake lines, and lightweight racing wheels. Manthey-Racing, partially owned by Porsche, is known for its expertise in enhancing Porsche’s performance vehicles. Their upgrades typically focus on aerodynamics, brakes, and suspension, leaving the engine untouched. This new package for the 911 GT3 RS is expected to follow the same approach, offering a significant performance boost on the track. Equipping your Porsche 911 GT3 with the Manthey Performance Kit unlocks a new level of speed, but it comes at a cost. This substantial upgrade, officially endorsed by Porsche carries a price tag of $60,500.
