Battle Of The Titans: Ford GT Vs. C8 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 - Storyboard

Which will be victorious in a battle between a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and a Ford GT?

In the orange corner, we have a C8 Z06 that packs a naturally aspirated flat-plane crank V8 that produces 670 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque

The Ford GT is a race-bred machine and packs a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that puts out 647 hp and 550 lb-ft of torque

So while the Corvette packs more power, the Ford GT has a torque and weight advantage as it is slightly lighter

After a quick-sound check, the two cars were ready for Round 1. A 1/4 mile dash

From a dig, the Corvette got an excellent start as the Ford struggled a bit with wheelspin off the line

But by the time they got to the finish line, the Ford was ahead and took the win

Round two was a 1/2 mile race with a rolling start and the Z06 ran away with this one, as the Ford had to deal with turbo lag. So by now the scores are draw

The final round was a brake test from 100 mph and the Ford managed to take this one as well, as it weighs nearly 500 lbs lesser than the Z06
