Porsche has created a unique one-off Porsche 911 GT3 RS to honor Swiss racing driver, Jo Siffert
-
Siffert competed in Formula One, and other motorsports in the 1960s and '70s and is remembered for his partnership with Porsche
-
In 1968, Kurt Ahrens along with Siffert won the first international 1,000-kilometre race at the Österreichring near Zeltweg in a Porsche 917
-
A few years later, his life was unfortunately cut short in a fatal racing accident at the age of just 35
-
This one-off 911 GT3 RS features a distinctive Pure White and Viper Green color scheme of Siffert's race car livery on his 917
-
The car incorporates Siffert's lucky number "29" and other personal touches
-
Porsche lettering, period-correct decals from Bosch and Shell, along with other 917 references adorn the bodywork of the car
-
You'll also find an outline of the 917 on the center-lock wheels of this GT3 RS
-
The car's cabin combines luxury with race-inspired elements, like Jo's helmet design and the Swiss flag
-
Siffert's son and grandson participated in the car's creation, as part of Porsche's Sonderwunsh program
-
The GT3 RS serves as a living memorial to Jo Siffert and will be raffled off
