The 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the most track-focused variant of Porsche's mid-engine sports car

It is also the only Porsche 718 to share an engine with the 911

The 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-6 comes from the Porsche 992 GT3 and revs to 9,000 RPM while making 493 hp and 331 lb-ft

The Cayman GT4 RS features numerous chassis upgrades, including the entire front-body section of a 991 Carrera 4

One unique feature of the GT RS is the dual air intake. Standard Cayman 718s feature only lower air vents

Together with the carbon-fiber air-box, directly behind the driver, the air intakes make for an epic soundtrack

With the Weisach package, the Cayman GT4 RS gets more pronounced air intakes. In theory, slightly more horsepower too

Porsche says the Cayan GT4 RS makes 10 fewer ponies than the 911 GT3 thanks to a longer exhaust tract

But it still manages a 3.2-second 0-60 mph time, on its way to a top speed of 196 mph

This is thanks to revised aerodynamics and more extensive use of carbon fiber, keeping weight at 3,227 lbs
