The GT3 RS seems better suited for track use with its focus on aero and lap times

The Maserati MC20 Cielo is a mid-engine sports car, that boasts more horsepower 621 hp from its 3.0-L twin-turbo V6

However, it weighs 3,920 lbs, which is 700 lbs more than the GT3 RS' 3,220 lbs

So, the MC20 packs more power, but the GT3 RS is lighter. Which RWD car will win?

Despite the weight advantage, the GT3 RS initially struggles due to the runway surface

But once it was hooked, the GT3 RS blitzed past the MC20 and took the win

The Porsche completed the quarter-mile in 10.9 seconds, where as the Maserati took 11.7 seconds

This victory highlights that its not always about power

A lightweight design is equally important in achieving a higher top speed
