Now packing an power plant that may divide opinion, find out why the owner of this 2006 911 Carrera S ditched the stock engine
The project was created by someone who thought that his 997 just was not fast enough
Nick is a engine tuning expert who runs Tuning by Nick, and currently has 5 Porsches in his garage
In its stock form the 997 made around 300 horsepower, after the swap the car now makes close to 500 horsepower with boost
Nick wanted to keep the car as stock in appearance, as possible except for the engine
Nick installed a Syvecs Plug and Play ECU to control all of his engine's parameters
He also installed GT3 front fenders, GT3 6-caliper brake pistons and rear wing
The end result is a 997 which looks stock and unassuming but packs a high-revving K24 engine with reliable and blistering pace.
Swipe up to find out why Nick ditched the stock Porsche engine, for one from a Civic SI.
